Angels & Demons

{4.5/5} Angels & Demons, released in 2009

Symbologist Robert Langdon is called to the Vatican, where four cardinals have been kidnapped. The Illuminati say that they’ll kill them one per hour. Then on the fifth hour they’ll destroy the Vatican with a bit of antimatter they’ve stolen from the Large Hadron Collider. Langdon searches a book that Galileo wrote for clues as to where the cardinals will be killed. It’s another exciting story from the people who brought you The Da Vinci Code. Tom Hanks and Ewan McGregor star. Directed by Ron Howard. The music by Hans Zimmer complements the action nicely.

I read the book a few years ago.

Another movie with Robert Langdon, Inferno, is forthcoming.

I previously reviewed Howard’s movie The Missing.
