Predestination

{5/5} “What if I could put him in front of you? The man that ruined your life. If I could guarantee that you’d get away with it, would you kill him?”

Predestination, released in 2014

A temporal agent poses as a bartender. After hearing an amazing story from a woman who became a man, he offers him a job — and it’s not bartending. The agent’s last mission is an important one — stop a bomber from killing thousands of people in New York in 1975. This movie is completely gripping from the first scene. Sometimes the best movies don’t make it to a theatre near you. If you’re a science fiction fan, I encourage you to watch this movie without finding out anything more about it. Sarah Snook is incredible as the woman who became a man. Ethan Hawke also stars. Directed by The Spierig Brothers.
