Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (season 1)

{4.5/5} “It’s so funny what people who have never been kidnapped think is scary. Talking crows? I would have loved to meet a talking crow!”

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt season 1, aired in 2015

Kimmy is one of four women who were rescued from a cult whose leader told them that the world had ended 15 years ago. After being on TV she decides not to go home but to live in New York. She has most of her money stolen, but she’s not giving up. Her roommate Titus is also not giving up his dream to sing on Broadway. The first episode is screamingly funny. After that the first few episodes are very funny and the last few are not so funny. You won’t be able to take yours eyes off Ellie Klemper as Kimmy. Season 2 is forthcoming.

Created by Robert Carlock (writer on Saturday Night Live) and Tina Fey (30 Rock).
