Jack of the Red Hearts

{4.5/5} “What else can you do, girlie, huh?”

Jack of the Red Hearts, released in 2015

Jack breaks her younger sister Coke out of her foster home, but she can’t really take care of her since she doesn’t have a home herself. Until she spots an ad for a live-in caretaker for an autistic child, Glory. Jack doesn’t really have any experience taking care of autistic children, but she does have experience conning people.

This is a great movie. It’s about doing what’s best for your family. And it’s about the hardships and the joys of a family in which one child is autistic.

Stars AnnaSophia Robb and Famke Janssen. Directed by Janet Grillo (Fly Away).
