Pink Lake

Posted by Dave Switzer under My thoughts

I hiked around Pink Lake with my friend James the other day. It’s in Gatineau Park, Quebec. It would have been great if it had been a sunny day, but it was also interesting to experience it on a foggy day. I only took 2 photos but they give you an idea what it looked […]

Big Four & Mt. Rainier, Washington

Posted by Dave Switzer under My thoughts

Algonquin Provincial Park

Posted by Dave Switzer under My thoughts

I went hiking for a week in Algonquin Provincial Park. This vacation was similar to the one I took last year, to Killarney. What’s the difference between the two parks? Killarney has more rocks and Algonquin has more trees. They’re both beautiful places. I hiked most of the day trails — there are other longer […]

Killarney Provincial Park

Posted by Dave Switzer under My thoughts

I spent a week in Killarney Provincial Park, on the northern shore of Georgian Bay. It’s now my favourite place in Ontario. There are various activities you can do there, but all I did was hiking (other things you can do include boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, and camping). There are a variety of trails […]
