Laggies

{4.5/5} “During mediation my client agreed to give back two of her handguns to her husband, and now she’s decided they were anniversary gifts to her.”

Laggies, released in 2014

Meg isn’t sure what she wants to do with her life. She’s working for her dad holding a giant sign on the sidewalk. Her long-term boyfriend starts to propose and she stops him. She meets Annika, a teenager, and starts hanging out with her — and maybe figuring things out. The movie is about figuring out who you want to love. There are lots of movies like that but this one is a bit different. It also has three actors I admire a lot — Keira Knightley, ChloĆ« Grace Moretz, and Sam Rockwell. Directed by Lynn Shelton.

I previously reviewed Shelton’s movie Your Sister’s Sister.
