Horns

{3.5/5} “When they looked at me, they saw a devil — and maybe I did too — and now I had to look the part.”

Horns, released in 2013

Ig’s girlfriend Merrin has been killed and everyone thinks he did it — except his brother and his lawyer. One day Ig develops horns on his head, and suddenly everyone he comes in contact with is compelled to tell him their darkest secrets. He might be able to use this new deal to find Merrin’s true killer. The first half is brilliant — it’s got drama, fantasy, romance, and humour. The second half isn’t as interesting — it’s mostly horror, and contains some very disturbing parts. Stars Daniel Radcliffe and Juno Temple.

Directed by Alexandre Aja (High Tension).
