Hank is a big city lawyer who returns to his home town for his mom’s funeral. He hasn’t had much contact with his family in the last couple of decades — his daughter hasn’t even met her grandparents. Hank’s dad Joseph is a judge. Hank leaves vowing to never return until he gets word that Joseph is accused of murder.

The movie is about law, illness, and family. It’s mostly serious with some funny moments.

Robert Duvall and Robert Downey, Jr. are always a joy to watch — it’s a treat to see them together.
