Deadpool 2
{4.5/5} “I love the decor, though. I had no idea hopeless was a colour.”
Deadpool 2, released in 2018
Deadpool goes around the world killing bad guys. When he gets back home, some of the bad guys have followed him — and they kill Vanessa. In despair, Colossus comes to rescue him and take him to the X-Men mansion. When Colossus takes him on a mission as a trainee, Deadpool kills a bad guy — and he gets taken away by the police, to the Ice Box.
This is a sequel to Deadpool.
There were a couple of parts at the beginning that weren’t very interesting. After that it got better, but it wasn’t quite as brilliant as the 1st movie.
Deadpool’s witticisms aren’t always funny, but there are lots of humorous moments. Cable and Domino are terrific new characters. It’s about family.
There are several startling cameos.
Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T. J. Miller, and Leslie Uggams reprise their roles from the 1st movie.
Stars Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz. Directed by David Leitch (Atomic Blonde). The action music is by Tyler Bates, and there are some pop songs that contrast with the on-screen violence.
It’s extremely important to watch the mid-credits sequence.
