Minority Report

{5/5} “Where’s my minority report?”

Minority Report, released in 2002

John Anderton is chief of the Precog crime unit in Washington DC. The precogs are three people with an unusual talent — they can see murders in the future. Now they say that John himself will commit a murder — he will shoot a man that he doesn’t even know. John takes Agatha, one of the precogs, with him on the run to find out the truth.

This movie is stunning from start to finish.

It has a terrific premise, a gripping execution, and a memorable vision of the future.

Based on a story by Philip K. Dick (The Adjustment Bureau).

Stars Tom Cruise, Samantha Morton, and Neal McDonough. Directed by Steven Spielberg (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). The exciting music is by John Williams.

This is the 4th or 5th time I’ve watched it. My previous review is here.
