The Bourne Ultimatum
{5/5} “Something happened to me, and I need to know what it was. Or I’ll never be free of this.”
The Bourne Ultimatum, released in 2007
Pamela Landy at the CIA believe Jason Bourne isn’t a threat but others aren’t so sure — so they’re still looking for him. Noah Vosen, Landy’s colleague, is up to his ears in an upgrade to Treadstone called Blackbriar. Meanwhile, Bourne wants to know how it all started — he seems to have a memory of telling them that he didn’t want to join the program.
This is the sequel to The Bourne Supremacy.
It’s another edge-of-your-seat adventure — smart and exciting, with one or two moments of humour.
On the whole these movies are pretty serious — in the sense that they make you think the world is a dangerous place. You might want to watch some comedies after watching them.
Stars David Strathairn, Scott Glenn, and Albert Finney. Directed by Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy). John Powell wrote the music, as he did for the previous 2 entries in the series.
This is the 2nd time I’ve seen it.
