Rogue One: A Star Wars Story<\/strong>, released in 2016<\/p>\n Jyn Erso has fallen into the Rebel Alliance, who say that her father is building a terrible weapon for the Empire. She, Cassian, and K-250 attempt to find her father — one of them wants the truth, and one of them has orders to kill him. Meanwhile, the Death Star has indeed been built and they’re testing it on the capital of Jedha.<\/p>\n This movie mostly takes place just days before Episode IV: A New Hope<\/strong>. The Star Wars<\/strong> saga seems more real now that this part of the story has been told. It’s a terrific story on its own, and it also makes a key part of A New Hope<\/strong> make more sense.*<\/p>\n It doesn’t have the thrill of seeing Leia, Han, and Luke again after many years but it does have its own share of interesting characters. My favourite character is K-250, who’s extremely funny — he’s an Imperial droid who’s been reprogrammed. We also see a few familiar characters briefly.**<\/p>\n It’s about courage, sacrifice, and doing what’s right in the face of incredible odds.<\/p>\n It’s visually stunning, to be seen on the big screen. I enjoyed it a lot.<\/p>\n Stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, and the voice of Alan Tudyk. Directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters<\/strong>). Michael Giacchino’s music has the flavour of a Star Wars<\/strong> score, and he includes a couple of John Williams’ motifs.<\/p>\n
