M expects Bond to do the mission he&#8217;s been assigned instead, so Bond resigns. Without the resources of the British government behind him, Bond asks a friend of Felix&#8217;s named Pam to help him take down Sanchez.<\/p>\n<p>The story is somewhat interesting, as it&#8217;s different than the usual. It&#8217;s certainly one of the most realistic entries in the series.<\/p>\n<p>Bond always makes his shot &#8212; unless he&#8217;s shooting at a bad guy who&#8217;s not supposed to die until later. Moneypenny and Q provide aid to Bond even though he&#8217;s not on an official mission.<\/p>\n<p>David Hedison plays Felix Leiter for the 2nd time, having played him in <strong>Live and Let Die<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Maibaum wrote or co-wrote 12 of the 15 James Bond movies from &#8220;Dr. No&#8221; to &#8220;Licence to Kill.&#8221; Michael G. Wilson co-wrote 5 of the movies with Maibaum \u2014 from &#8220;For Your Eyes Only&#8221; to &#8220;Licence to Kill.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Stars Timothy Dalton, Robert Davi, and Carey Lowell. Directed by John Glen (<strong>The Living Daylights<\/strong>).
