The OA<\/strong> season 1, aired in 2016<\/p>\n When Prairie disappeared 7 years ago she was blind — but now she can see. Her adopted parents take her in again and try to care for her, but she’s unable to tell them — or the FBI — what happened to her or how she got her sight back. Meanwhile, Prairie says her name is “the OA” and she asks a group of 5 people to meet her at midnight at an abandoned house for mysterious purposes.<\/p>\n Much of the story is told through flashbacks, in which Brit Marling does a terrific job portraying a blind person.<\/p>\n It’s about near death experiences, mad scientists, and what you can do when you bring a group of people together.<\/p>\n Even if you’re unsure of the storyline at some point, the actors and characters will keep you coming back. Things are kicked up a notch in the season finale, and there are some unanswered questions at the end of season 1.<\/p>\n Stars Jason Isaacs and Alice Krige.<\/p>\n
