Do not forget.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Sudden Appearance of Hope<\/strong> by Claire North, published in 2016<\/p>\n<p>Hope was a normal person until she reached the age of 16 &#8212; then people started to forget her. Eventually people forgot her instantly as soon as they couldn&#8217;t see her anymore &#8212; even her family. She has turned to a life of crime. Hope gets away with it because everyone forgets her. Everyone around her is using an insidious app called &#8220;Perfection&#8221; that may hold the key to making her memorable.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s another glorious premise followed by a masterful story.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about surviving when life has dealt you an unusual hand. It&#8217;s about the dangers of letting a machine rule your life.<\/p>\n<p>I was a tiny bit impatient for a while in the middle, but other than that it was superb.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve read 3 of North&#8217;s books.
