Might words written in the book not then become the new laws of magic?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/strong> season 10 (6 volumes) by Christos Gage, Nicholas Brendon &amp; others, published in 2014-16<\/p>\n<p>The old rules of magic are gone and the new rules are just being written &#8212; in the &#8220;Vampyr&#8221; book that Buffy and her friends have. Dracula decides he wants the book for himself. Other vampires are stronger than they used to be. Giles, who&#8217;s now a kid, rejoins the team. And Xander and Dawn aren&#8217;t sure they&#8217;re going to stay a couple.<\/p>\n<p>The story is interesting, the characters felt like themselves, and there&#8217;s the appropriate mixture of seriousness and fun.
