Blade Runner 2049<\/strong>, released in 2017<\/p>\n It’s been 30 years since Deckard and Rachel left Los Angeles. K, a blade runner who knows he’s a replicant, is still hunting down illegal replicants. But then he finds out that a replicant has had a child — and everyone is very interested in that. K’s boss wants the child dead and the successor to the Tyrell corporation wants it for themselves.<\/p>\n I applaud the filmmakers for doing something out of the ordinary. I liked it but I didn’t love it. But Blade Runner<\/strong> fans will want to see it to find out what happens with our old friend Deckard.<\/p>\n They did a fine job of transporting us back into the world of Blade Runner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Like the original, we’re left with a certain amount of mystery.<\/p>\n The visuals are stunning, although some of the interiors felt a bit over the top.<\/p>\n The sound mix was shockingly bad. The low rumbling got annoying very quickly.<\/p>\n Although Harrison Ford is in the movie, he’s not in it as much as you might like.<\/p>\n
