Agents of SHIELD<\/strong> season 5, aired in 2017-18<\/p>\n

The team unexpectedly finds themselves aboard a spaceship, sent there by a monolith. One of the people on the ship says they’re there to save humanity — somehow he knows who they are. They eventually figure out that they’ve travelled into the future — a future where Earth has been destroyed. Meanwhile, Fitz is back on Earth trying to figure out how to bring his friends home.<\/p>\n

The situation the agents are in is very different, but it’s still brilliant. Our old friend Lance Hunter makes a welcome return in one episode.<\/p>\n

The musical cue for Kasius’s henchwoman Sinara is delightful.<\/p>\n

The season finale was devastating but beautiful.<\/p>\n
