Black Mirror<\/strong> season 4 episode 1, aired in 2017<\/p>\n Nanette wakes up and finds herself seemingly aboard a starship, like in “Star Trek.” She soon finds out that her boss at work, Robert, has stolen her identity and plans to force her to do his bidding in this virtual reality. The other people in the simulation with her tell her there’s no way out.<\/p>\n I don’t usually review individual episodes of TV shows but I might not watch the rest of this one and I wanted to make a note of it. The episode is called “USS Callister.”<\/p>\n It’s an homage to Star Trek<\/strong> in the way that Galaxy Quest<\/strong> was — except that this time it’s serious, although it certainly has funny moments.
