It’s been 500 years of the Seldon Plan and the people of the Foundation are doing well. But one councillor on Terminus has reasoned that the Second Foundation still exists — and dares to say that out loud. The mayor sends him off planet along with a professor who’s looking for Earth.<\/p>\n

This is the 4th book in the Foundation<\/strong> series, the sequel to Second Foundation<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Even though it was 30 years later it’s almost as if Asimov starting typing this one the day after he finished Second Foundation<\/strong> — almost, with the exception that he talks more about computers now.<\/p>\n

It’s about secret organizations, secrets from the past, and — as always in Foundation<\/strong> stories — the long game.<\/p>\n

At the climax representatives of huge forces gather together — and they talk. Asimov is a master at interesting and exciting dialogue.<\/p>\n
