At her apartment, Elisa spends a fair about of time with her neighbour Giles, who&#8217;s an artist. Elisa discovers an amphibious creature being held captive at work &#8212; even though she&#8217;s warned against it, she approaches him.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a delightfully eccentric story. It feels a bit like a Jean-Pierre Jeunet movie, particularly at first.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about friendship, and acceptance of beings who are different from you.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Sally Hawkins, Octavia Spencer, Richard Jenkins, and Doug Jones. Directed by Guillermo del Toro (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2015\/12\/pans-labyrinth\/\"><strong>Pan\u2019s Labyrinth<\/strong><\/a>).
