Finally, it’s happening. Surely the trials of Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen will eventually have some effect on Donald Trump — specifically, being removed from the White House and placed in jail.<\/p>\n

Here’s a column from Richard Wolffe from the Guardian<\/strong>, in which there is this pair of beautiful sentences: “To lose one of your inner circle to criminal charges may be regarded as a misfortune. To lose two on the same day looks like carelessness.” He also points out that Trump could hypothetically have continued to commit crimes without punishment if he hadn’t invited extra scrutiny by becoming president.<\/p>\n
