Now the people are on the ship, wondering when they&#8217;ll meet the aliens &#8212; and wondering why they lost two and a half hours. There&#8217;s a young artist who&#8217;s pregnant, a woman with medical training who brought her cat, an older blind woman, 10 people from the army, and a man from NASA.<\/p>\n<p>I love the premise, and the interesting characters and situations kept me reading.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about dealing with strangely reticent aliens. It&#8217;s about figuring out how to do science, morals, and politics in a new situation.<\/p>\n<p>This is the 2nd book by Sinclair I&#8217;ve read.
