Silik’s friend from the future told Archer that the Xindi found out that humans destroyed their world 400 years in the future. Now the Enterprise has a new mission: travel to the Delphic Expanse to find the Xindi. Meanwhile, Dr. Phlox suggests that Trip try Vulcan neuropressure in order to sleep better.

The season-long arc was obviously inspired by 9/11. This particular arc wasn’t my favourite, but given their choice they did a great job with it.

I didn’t remember specifically how dark this season was. With the change in mission, Archer finds himself with more moral quandries than in the past.

The ongoing story is gripping — you’ll want to clear your schedule for this season. The Xindi were worthy antagonists.

In “Twilight” Archer wakes up to find he’s an older man and T’Pol is taking care of him. In “Similitude” Trip is severely injured and in a coma — Dr. Phlox proposes creating a clone in order to harvest his tissue. In “E²” they run into another Enterprise, one who has travelled 117 years into the past.

Stars Linda Park and Connor Trinneer.

This is the 2nd time I’ve watched it.
