He&#8217;s having trouble figuring out what to do with his life when someone from the Life Foundation tells him that they&#8217;re recruiting poor test subjects who are all dying. When she sneaks him into the lab, he comes face to face with an alien organism, a symbiote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Venom is a character in the <strong>Spider-Ma<\/strong>n comics but this movie isn&#8217;t part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It&#8217;s certainly much better than the last time we saw Venom, in <strong>Spider-Man 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has interesting characters and a fine sense of humour. It&#8217;s also quite violent. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The movie contains Stan Lee&#8217;s penultimate cameo. There are 2 mid-credits sequences.*<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, and Jenny Slate. Directed by&nbsp;Ruben Fleischer (<strong>Zombieland<\/strong>). The bombastic music is by Ludwig G\u00f6ransson.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spoiler alert<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*Woody Harrelson is in the 1st one, setting up a sequel.
