It&#8217;s just tiny, little rocks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind<\/strong>, released in 2004<\/p>\n<p>Joel ditches work one day and meets Clementine on the beach. She seems a bit unusual but over the course of a few encounters he warms up to her and they begin a relationship. Sometime later when they&#8217;ve broken up Joel is devastated. He then finds out that she&#8217;s undergone a new procedure where she&#8217;s had him erased from her memory.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a strange but brilliant movie. Many scenes take place inside Joel&#8217;s memory, but distorted because they&#8217;re in the process of erasing it.<\/p>\n<p>The screenplay was written by Charlie Kaufman (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2016\/10\/being-john-malkovich\/\"><strong>Being John Malkovich<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet are amazing, as always &#8212; making you believe in the different stages of their relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Tom Wilkinson, Elijah Wood, Kirsten Dunst, Mark Ruffalo, David Cross, and Jane Adams. Directed by Michel Gondry (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/be-kind-rewind\/\"><strong>Be Kind Rewind<\/strong><\/a>).
