Star Trek: Alien Spotlight<\/strong> (2 volumes) by Scott & David Tipton, John Byrne & others, published in 2008-10<\/p>\n When Captain Terrell and Commander Chekov crash land on a planet they find it’s inhabited by the Gorn. When Captain Pike and Spock beam down to a planet of warlike beings they discover it can be valuable to have someone different around. When the Borg employ a brand new strategy Captain Picard decides to have a chat with them.<\/p>\n This is a collection of a bunch of graphic novels written by different authors, each highlighting a different alien race featured in Star Trek<\/strong>.<\/p>\n There’s a fun story about tribbles, and one about Q in which he learns a thing or two about negotiations from Captain Picard. You have to pay extra attention when you’re reading Cardassians<\/strong>, as the dual storyline can be confusing.<\/p>\n The artwork in each story is done by different artists. I prefer some artwork more than others, but on the whole it’s very good.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve read 9 or 10 graphic novels by Scott Tipton and David Tipton.
