When no humans are around, he comes alive along with his fellow toys. On Andy&#8217;s birthday he gets a Buzz Lightyear. This makes Woody concerned that Andy will play with his new toy and not him. At first Buzz thinks he&#8217;s a space ranger and it takes him a while to realize that he&#8217;s a toy. Meanwhile, next door a kid named Sid isn&#8217;t very nice to his toys.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s very funny. I like how each toy makes good use of its inherent characteristics.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about jealousy, friendship, and working together.<\/p>\n<p>Not only is it an astonishing movie on its own, but it also started the tradition of brilliant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2018\/07\/pixar-movies-3\/\">Pixar movies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A bunch of people contributed to the story, including Joss Whedon (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2017\/12\/justice-league\/\"><strong>Justice League<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Stars the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Jim Varney, and (of course) John Ratzenberger. Directed by John Lasseter (<strong>A Bug&#8217;s Life<\/strong>).
