Toy Story<\/strong>, released in 1995<\/p>\n

Woody is a toy who belongs to Andy. When no humans are around, he comes alive along with his fellow toys. On Andy’s birthday he gets a Buzz Lightyear. This makes Woody concerned that Andy will play with his new toy and not him. At first Buzz thinks he’s a space ranger and it takes him a while to realize that he’s a toy. Meanwhile, next door a kid named Sid isn’t very nice to his toys.<\/p>\n

It’s very funny. I like how each toy makes good use of its inherent characteristics.<\/p>\n

It’s about jealousy, friendship, and working together.<\/p>\n

Not only is it an astonishing movie on its own, but it also started the tradition of brilliant Pixar movies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A bunch of people contributed to the story, including Joss Whedon (Justice League<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n

Stars the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Jim Varney, and (of course) John Ratzenberger. Directed by John Lasseter (A Bug’s Life<\/strong>). Randy Newman’s music is glorious, and the song “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” is delightful.<\/p>\n
