Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home<\/strong>, released in 1986<\/p>\n

Admiral James T. Kirk and his officers head toward Earth to face charges. When they get close they’re greeted by a startling announcement — a probe is turning Earth uninhabitable. The probe is directing a message at the oceans, so Spock figures out that it’s trying to communicate with humpback whales — which are extinct. The only place to find humpback whales is on Earth of the past.<\/p>\n

As in the previous movie, this one has many humorous moments. It has a terrific message, and it has our heroes working together to solve a problem.<\/p>\n

One more quotation: “I don’t know if you’ve got the whole picture or not but he’s not exactly working on all thrusters.”<\/p>\n

And one more quotation: “Everybody remember where we parked.”<\/p>\n

Stars James Doohan, Catherine Hicks, Jane Wyatt, Brock Peters, and John Schuck. Directed by Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock<\/strong><\/a>). The music by Leonard Rosenman is delightful, especially “Hospital Chase.”<\/p>\n
