Catch Me If You Can<\/strong>, released in 2002<\/p>\n

When Frank Abagnale, Jr. shows up to his new school wearing the uniform from his old school he’s mistaken for a substitute teacher. He decides to play along and ends up doing it for a week. When his parents get a divorce, he’s asked to decide on the spot which parent he wants to live with. Unable to make that choice, he runs away. He starts writing bad cheques, and he keeps running.<\/p>\n

It’s based on a true story, which makes it even more interesting.<\/p>\n

The characters of Frank, his father, and FBI agent Carl Hanratty are all delightfully singular.<\/p>\n

The scene in the Miami airport where he’s hiding behind the fake stewardesses is one of the best.<\/p>\n

It’s one of Steven Spielberg’s masterpieces. It’s about the highs and lows of faking your way through life.<\/p>\n

One more quotation: “You’re not a Lutheran?”<\/p>\n

Stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Christopher Walken, Amy Adams, and Martin Sheen. Directed by Steven Spielberg (Ready Player One<\/strong><\/a>). The memorable music is by John Williams.<\/p>\n
