He decides to play along and ends up doing it for a week. When his parents get a divorce, he&#8217;s asked to decide on the spot which parent he wants to live with. Unable to make that choice, he runs away. He starts writing bad cheques, and he keeps running.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s based on a true story, which makes it even more interesting.<\/p>\n<p>The characters of Frank, his father, and FBI agent Carl Hanratty are all delightfully singular.<\/p>\n<p>The scene in the Miami airport where he&#8217;s hiding behind the fake stewardesses is one of the best.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s one of Steven Spielberg&#8217;s masterpieces. It&#8217;s about the highs and lows of faking your way through life.<\/p>\n<p>One more quotation: &#8220;You&#8217;re not a Lutheran?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Christopher Walken, Amy Adams, and Martin Sheen. Directed by Steven Spielberg (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2018\/07\/ready-player-one\/\"><strong>Ready Player One<\/strong><\/a>).
