I will not rely on anyone or anything.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ad Astra<\/strong>, released in 2019<\/p>\n<p>Roy is an astronaut whose father, Clifford, went on the 1st mission to Neptune and has been presumed dead for years. Now SpaceCom has information that Clifford is still alive &#8212; and may be the source of the power surges that have been plaguing Earth. Roy&#8217;s mission is to destroy the source of the surges at all costs.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a beautiful looking movie, in which you feel like you&#8217;re on the Moon or in space. They&#8217;ve gathered a collection of terrific actors.<\/p>\n<p>But the story didn&#8217;t grab me nearly as much as I expected it to. It was filmed in such a way that kept me at a distance.<\/p>\n<p>I felt like there were some things that didn&#8217;t make sense. For example, Roy seems to learn a lesson at the end of the movie &#8212; but I don&#8217;t know how he learned it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ad Astra<\/strong> is a great title for a science fiction movie, as it means &#8220;to the stars&#8221; in Latin &#8212; I just wish it wasn&#8217;t this one.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones.
