Ad Astra<\/strong>, released in 2019<\/p>\n Roy is an astronaut whose father, Clifford, went on the 1st mission to Neptune and has been presumed dead for years. Now SpaceCom has information that Clifford is still alive — and may be the source of the power surges that have been plaguing Earth. Roy’s mission is to destroy the source of the surges at all costs.<\/p>\n It’s a beautiful looking movie, in which you feel like you’re on the Moon or in space. They’ve gathered a collection of terrific actors.<\/p>\n But the story didn’t grab me nearly as much as I expected it to. It was filmed in such a way that kept me at a distance.<\/p>\n I felt like there were some things that didn’t make sense. For example, Roy seems to learn a lesson at the end of the movie — but I don’t know how he learned it.<\/p>\n
