{"id":15158,"date":"2019-11-02T22:48:59","date_gmt":"2019-11-03T02:48:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/?p=15158"},"modified":"2019-11-02T22:48:59","modified_gmt":"2019-11-03T02:48:59","slug":"kw-symphonys-czech-hits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2019\/11\/kw-symphonys-czech-hits\/","title":{"rendered":"KW Symphony&#8217;s &#8220;Czech Hits&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I attended the KW Symphony&#8217;s concert &#8220;Czech Hits.&#8221; Here&#8217;s the program:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bedrich Smetana\n<ul>\n<li>Ma vlast (My homeland)\n<ul>\n<li>The Moldau<\/li>\n<li>Sarka<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Bob Becker\n<ul>\n<li>Music On The Moon*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Dinuk Wijeratne\n<ul>\n<li>Invisible Cities*\n<ul>\n<li>Valdrada<\/li>\n<li>Ersilia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Antonin Dvorak\n<ul>\n<li>Symphony No. 8 in G major, op. 88<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The only piece I knew was the Smetana, and it was glorious &#8212; I would have liked to have heard all 6 movements.<\/p>\n<p>However, the other pieces were delightful.
