The Mandalorian<\/strong> season 1, aired in 2019<\/p>\n The Mandalorian is a bounty hunter — he’s a man of few words and many weapons. He encases his bounties in carbonite for delivery so that there’s no fuss. But his latest bounty is different — it’s a very small creature, who seems to be a child. But then the child demonstrates the ability to stop a huge rampaging animal with their mind. When Jawas strip his ship for parts, he turns to the one man on the planet he can trust.<\/p>\n The look of the show is tremendous — you can tell you’re in the Star Wars<\/strong> universe we know. It has a good sense of humour.<\/p>\n I wasn’t sure a story about a bounty hunter would be interesting, but the story of this bounty hunter is gripping. The 8-episode season builds to a thrilling finale.<\/p>\n We gradually find out more about the Mandalorians, a group that apparently includes Boba Fett.<\/p>\n The music by Ludwig G\u00f6ransson won’t remind you of John Williams but it fits the story nicely.<\/p>\n Carl Weathers, Wernor Herzog, and Ming-Na Wen show up as guest stars. Nick Nolte and Taika Waititi’s voices are also heard.<\/p>\n Stars Pedro Pascal.<\/p>\n
