Star Trek: The Next Generation<\/strong> season 3, aired in 1989-90<\/p>\n Doctor Crusher returns to the Enterprise. When Q is kicked out of the Continuum and loses his powers, he asks them to send him to the Enterprise. Worf discovers that he has a brother, Kurn — and that their father, Mog, is accused of being a traitor. When Data is kidnapped by Kivas Fajo, he is intended to be an exhibit in a museum — and the Enterprise crew thinks he’s dead.<\/p>\n This is where it all comes together, with many brilliant episodes with complex storylines. One thing that’s probably related is this is when Michael Piller joined the writing staff.<\/p>\n The season finale contains one of the greatest, if not the greatest, cliffhangers ever.<\/p>\n In “Yesterday’s Enterprise” the Enterprise-C comes through a rift in space and causes an alternate timeline in which the Federation has been at war with the Klingons for 20 years. In “The Offspring” Data creates another android, Lal, whom he thinks of as his daughter — but an admiral wants to take her away. In “Sarek” Ambassador Sarek comes aboard to complete some negotiations — but he is more emotional than expected. In “The Best of Both Worlds” the Borg reach Federation space and assimilate Captain Picard.<\/p>\n Guest stars include Andreas Katsulas, Tony Todd, and Dwight Schultz. Mark Lenard, the ultimate guest star, reprises his role as Sarek from TOS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Stars Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, and Marina Sirtis.<\/p>\n This is the 2nd time I’ve seen it.<\/p>\n
