It&#8217;s a great day, not just for the US but for the world. There should have been a blue wave, but this result is infinitely better than the alternative. Now we can approach the future with more hope &#8212; we can see that possibilities exist for the world banding together to solve the problems of the 21st century.<\/p>\n<p>How do Americans feel about it? Here&#8217;s one articulate American, <a href=\"https:\/\/whatever.scalzi.com\/2020\/11\/08\/and-now-some-more-general-thoughts-on-the-2020-election\/\">John Scalzi<\/a>. He talks about voter turnout, polling, the lack of Trump&#8217;s concession, and horrible Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>As for what Democrats should do going forward, <a href=\"http:\/\/davidbrin.blogspot.com\/2020\/11\/why-top-republicans-fear-being-cornered.html\">David Brin<\/a> has some ideas.
