The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special<\/strong>, released in 2020<\/p>\n It’s Life Day and Rey, Finn, Poe, and their friends are celebrating aboard the Millennium Falcon. Rey has been trying to train Finn as a Jedi but feels she’s missing something. She reads in one of her books that on Life Day by going to a certain temple a Jedi can learn from the past — she sees past Jedi masters training their students.<\/p>\n The original Star Wars Holiday Special<\/strong> from 1978 is well known as a bad show — George Lucas never let it be shown after the first time.<\/p>\n But this one is fun, and probably the only place you can see Rey battle Darth Vader during the Battle of Hoth.<\/p>\n It’s clever, funny, and has a nice message. It’s the holiday special you were looking for.<\/p>\n It would have been nice if more cast members had reprised their roles. On the other hand, Tom Kane’s Yoda and Matt Sloan’s Darth Vader are terrific.<\/p>\n Stars the voices of Kelly Marie Tran, Anthony Daniels, and Billy Dee Williams. Directed by Ken Cunningham (the TV show Lego Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar<\/strong>).
