Sometimes he thought they had survived this long in the Delta Quadrant only through the sheer force of her will.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Star Trek: Voyager &#8212; String Theory: Fusion<\/strong> by Kirsten Beyer, published in 2005<\/p>\n<p>Tuvok has gone AWOL, taking a shuttlecraft towards a singularity, drawn by an unknown intelligence. Voyager is following him, and they have discovered there&#8217;s a giant station around the singularity. Everyone on Voyager believes that it&#8217;s perfectly natural for Phoebe Janeway to be on board. But in reality an unbelievably advanced being has taken the form of Janeway&#8217;s sister.<\/p>\n<p>This is the sequel to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2021\/01\/voy-string-theory-cohesion\/\"><strong>Cohesion<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Naomi Wildman plays a nice part, as does Vorik. The trilogy connects season 5 and 6 nicely, with B&#8217;Elanna and Seven getting to know each other better, Tom finding a serial called &#8220;Captain Proton,&#8221; and Naomi drawing a picture for Janeway.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about dealing with powerful forces that may not have your best interests at heart.<\/p>\n<p>This is the 1st novel I&#8217;ve read by Beyer.
