He&#8217;s had outbursts at school, he says he&#8217;s a &#8220;freak,&#8221; and he passes out after being locked in a closet. Malcolm gains Cole&#8217;s trust and Cole tells him his secret &#8212; he sees dead people. Meanwhile, Malcolm hasn&#8217;t been feeling like his old self since a former patient broke into his house and shot him.<\/p>\n<p>In Shyamalan&#8217;s first big movie, he does an astonishing job at creating a spooky atmosphere &#8212; of course, he&#8217;s aided by a talented cast and composer.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about a truth so unbelievable that a boy isn&#8217;t able to tell his own mother.<\/p>\n<p>I like the expression on the kid&#8217;s face who&#8217;s writing on the blackboard when Cole calls his teacher &#8220;Stuttering Stanley.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The twist is a glorious one &#8212; I would love to watch it again for the 1st time.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Bruce Willis, Haley Joel Osment, and Toni Collette. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2019\/07\/glass\/\"><strong>Glass<\/strong><\/a>).
