When he sees someone in a movie who looks just like him, he becomes obsessed with him. He tracks Anthony down and calls him, asking to meet &#8212; Anthony agrees. Meanwhile, Anthony&#8217;s pregnant wife Helen is very suspicious of the situation and thinks that Anthony knows more than he&#8217;s telling her.<\/p>\n<p>This is an odd movie, and probably won&#8217;t grab you right away. It gets a bit more interesting once the two characters start interacting.<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t watched a movie as baffling as this since <strong>I\u2019m Thinking of Ending Things<\/strong>. If you think the direction in this movie might be anything like <strong>Arrival<\/strong> or <strong>Blade Runner 2049<\/strong> it&#8217;s not.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re going to watch it, watch it on a day when you have some patience &#8212; it&#8217;s slow moving. There was some interesting stuff in the 2nd half but it still was intermittent and the ending made me like it even less.<\/p>\n<p>Jake Gyllenhaal does a great job playing 2 characters, of course. But the story will leave you shaking your head.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Sarah Gadon and M\u00e9lanie Laurent. Directed by Denis Villeneuve (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2020\/06\/arrival-2\/\"><strong>Arrival<\/strong><\/a>).
