Star Trek: Coda — Moments Asunder<\/strong> by Dayton Ward<\/span>, published in 2021<\/p>\n

Commander Geordi La Forge gets a tempting job offer to help design the next generation of exploration ships. Commander Worf is offered command of a starship. Captain Jean-Luc Picard is happily spending time on a beach with his wife Doctor Beverly Crusher and son Ren\u00e9. He is looking forward to returning to the Enterprise’s mission of exploration. Meanwhile, Wesley Crusher witnesses the destruction of the Guardian of Forever by an unknown adversary — he reaches across space and connects with his mother and brother, who are startled by the contact but don’t know what it means.<\/p>\n

The main storyline is gripping. I was a bit impatient with the chapters spent in the 29th century.<\/p>\n

Lieutenant Commander Taurik, Captain Dax on the Aventine, and the Captain Riker from the novel TNG: Headlong Flight<\/strong> are featured. And also the novel series character T’Ryssa Chen.<\/p>\n

It’s a sequel to the TNG<\/strong> episode “Time’s Arrow.”<\/p>\n
