I&#8217;ve already mentioned <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2019\/05\/a-few-fixes-to-star-wars-episode-iv\/\"><strong>SC 3, 5, 16, 29, 38 Reimagined<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2019\/06\/fan-films\/\"><strong>Darth Maul: Apprentice<\/strong><\/a>. Here are a few others that are extraordinary.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>{5\/5} The Battlefield<\/p>\n<p>This is a very short film but it&#8217;s absolutely hilarious. It&#8217;s a conversation between two stormtroopers while there&#8217;s a battle going on near them. The one has never met a Jedi before and doesn&#8217;t realize what the deal is when they hear the sounds of a lightsaber. Written and directed by Peter Haynes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_F-FVJIXw-s\">THE BATTLEFIELD &#8211; A Star Wars short film made with Unreal Engine 5<\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>{4.5\/5} The Fair Trade<\/p>\n<p>This is a little slice of life on Tatooine involving our old friends C-3PO and R2-D2. C-3PO&#8217;s voice is a bit distracting. It relies on a surprise ending that I&#8217;m not sure is entirely warranted. But it&#8217;s fun, and the visuals and music are well done. <span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\">Written and directed by Marty Sliwinski<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4O1YiI0U3vs\">The Fair Trade: A STAR WARS fan film 2021 [4K] Unreal 5 (Award Winning)<\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>{5\/5} Kenobi<\/p>\n<p>This tells the story of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Tatooine after <strong>Episode III<\/strong>. It also features Beru, Owen, and a young Luke. It&#8217;s exciting, and fits in perfectly with what we know. It has splendid on-location filiming, and some music that John Williams would appreciate. Written by <span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\">Jamie Costa, Jason Satterlund, and Rob Harmon<\/span>. Directed by <span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\">Jason Satterlund<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3uDwjIBR9s4\">KENOBI &#8211; A Star Wars Fan Film<\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>{5\/5} Star Wars Origins<\/p>\n<p>You won&#8217;t believe a fan film can be this amazing until you see this. It&#8217;s a clever homage to both <strong>Indiana Jones<\/strong> and <strong>Star Wars<\/strong>. The visuals, both the desert exteriors and mysterious interior, are stunning. The music is John Williams inspired. Lead actor Marie Everett is terrific. Written and directed by Phil Hawkins.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SVSox0qApO4\">Star Wars Origins &#8211; The award-winning, Mark Hamill approved \u201cepic masterpiece\u201d &#8211; Star Wars Fan Film<\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>{4.5\/5} Vader Episode I: Shards of the Past<\/p>\n<p>This takes place after Episode III, when Darth Vader is still struggling with anger about Padm\u00e9&#8217;s death. It ends a bit abruptly. The actors who play the Emperor and Darth Vader do a great job. The visuals are terrific, and it contains some beautiful John Williams music. Written by Danny Ramirez, Star Wars Theory, and Nikolaj Wejp-Olsen.
