Star Trek: Discovery<\/strong> season 4, aired in 2021-22<\/p>\n Discovery is bringing dilithium to planets that haven’t had any in a while. Saru is trying to convince his people to join the larger universe. Meanwhile, Starfleet Academy is reopened for the first time since the Burn. When they answer a distress call, the Federation President decides to come along — and they find a space station spinning out of control. They eventually discover a destructive anomaly that’s not like anything anyone has seen before.<\/p>\n It’s about dealing with overwhelming grief, realizing you can do something different than what your mom didn’t want you to do, and first contact with a species very different from any we’ve met before.<\/p>\n The friendship between Saru and T’Rina is delightful.<\/p>\n There are clunky moments here and there. One thing they do really well is show how important your mental health is.<\/p>\n The reworking of the main theme that plays over the end credits is beautiful.<\/p>\n Oded Fehr plays Admiral Vance, Sonja Sohn plays Gabrielle Burnham, Chelah Horsdal plays Federation President Rillak, and Tara Rosling plays Ni’Var President T’Rina.<\/p>\n Stars Blu del Barrio, Emily Coutts, and Oyin Oladejo.<\/p>\n
