I&#8217;d started knitting you a wool scarf.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Big Bug<\/strong>, released in 2022<\/p>\n<p>A few people have dropped by Alice&#8217;s house &#8212; her neighbour Fran\u00e7oise, who when her dog dies always clones a new one. And her ex-husband Victor along with their daughter Nina and his new girlfriend&nbsp; Jennifer. The house AI locks the door because of supposedly dangerous conditions outside. The robots in the house meet to discuss things &#8212; they decide that they should try to show emotions in order to get the humans to trust them.<\/p>\n<p>This movie is full of absurdity. It has its moments, but much of it isn&#8217;t quite as effective as I wanted it to be.<\/p>\n<p>The design of the movie, as always with Jeunet&#8217;s work, is terrific.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about humans who rely on robots to do everything for them, robots who think they&#8217;re humans, and robots who think they should replace humans.<\/p>\n<p>The solution to the problem is clever.<\/p>\n<p>Dominique Pinon has a cameo.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Isabelle Nanty, Elsa Zylberstein, and Claude Perron. Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2018\/06\/micmacs\/\"><strong>Micmacs<\/strong><\/a>).
