Last Night in Soho<\/strong>, released in 2021<\/p>\n Eloise gets accepted to college to study fashion design and moves to the big city of London. She’s not a big fan of her roommate and her friends who party all the time. She gets so fed up with them that she finds a room elsewhere. From her new room at night she can somehow transport into 1965, where she has a sort of alter ego who is an aspiring singer named Sandie. In turns out that Sandie used to live in the room that Eloise now lives in.<\/p>\n It’s a bit more disturbing than I usually watch, but it’s very well done. There are some intense moments.<\/p>\n The scenes where Eloise and Sandy see each other in the mirror — and switch between them while they’re dancing — are nicely done.<\/p>\n Stars Thomasin McKenzie, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Diana Rigg. Directed by Edgar Wright (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World<\/strong>).
