They ask for people to join them and go to the future to fight aliens &#8212; otherwise, all of humanity will be wiped out. After many soldiers don&#8217;t make it home, a worldwide draft is instituted. Dan, who used to be a soldier and now teaches high school science, is drafted. When he gets to the future, he&#8217;s put in charge of a rescue mission.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about knowing when it&#8217;s time to use science to solve a problem and when it&#8217;s time to use bullets, and meeting your daughter who&#8217;s decades older than the last time you saw her.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s exciting &#8212; it would have been intense to see on the big screen.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Chris Pratt, Yvonne Strahovski, and J.K.
