Luck<\/strong>, released in 2022<\/p>\n Sam has had bad luck all her life. She lived at an orphanage and was never adopted, and now she has to move out because she’s 18. When she feeds a cat, the cat leaves behind a penny. Her luck turns around instantly — her toast always falls jam side up. But then she accidentally flushes the penny down the toilet. When she sees the cat again, she finds out that he can talk — and he’s from the Land of Luck.<\/p>\n This is an animated movie with a very nice depiction of a fantasy world.<\/p>\n I like the premise, and the Land of Luck is a delightful place.<\/p>\n There’s a fair amount of slapstick, but it makes logical sense due to the story.<\/p>\n Stars the voices of Whoopi Goldberg, Jane Fonda, and Simon Pegg.
