Now through the miracle of technology, we can go fishing in a stream above the sky.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Space Sweepers<\/strong>, released in 2021<\/p>\n<p>A group of people who look for garbage to trade in for cash stumble across what looks like a little girl. But it&#8217;s a robot &#8212; a robot that has a bomb inside. Because they&#8217;re desperate for money, they contact the terrorists and demand $2 million to give her back to them. The terrorists agree. On the way, some of the crew grow a bit attached to the girl and don&#8217;t really want to give her up.<\/p>\n<p>Astonishingly, this is South Korea&#8217;s very first science fiction movie set in space.<\/p>\n<p>The special effects are terrific &#8212; particularly the shots of the different space stations, habitats, and ships in orbit.<\/p>\n<p>I wasn&#8217;t sure about the story at the beginning, but it picks up once they find the girl.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about what you would do for money, or a better place in society. And what you would do for friendship.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Song Joong-ki, Kim Tae-ri, and Richard Armitage. Directed by Sung-hee Jo (<strong>A Werewolf Boy<\/strong>).
