The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent<\/strong>, released in 2022<\/p>\n Nick Cage is approached by a director about a movie, and he very much wants to do it — he thinks it’s the role of a lifetime. Meanwhile, his daughter is annoyed with him because he made her watch an old movie she didn’t like at all. He shows up at his daughter’s birthday but is on the phone with his agent when they start singing “Happy Birthday.” He didn’t get the part, he had a couple of drinks, and now he’s quitting acting.<\/p>\n Nicolas Cage plays himself, as only he can. Like John Malkovich before him, Cage wasn’t keen on playing himself at first — but I’m glad he did.<\/p>\n It’s very funny. I like when Cage is asked his favourite movie, he takes a long time to answer and can’t pick just one.<\/p>\n It’s about friendship and family, and coming to the aid of your country when it asks you to.<\/p>\n Demi Moore has a nice cameo.<\/p>\n Stars Neil Patrick Harris, Pedro Pascal, and Sharon Horgan.
