Station Eleven<\/strong>, aired in 2021-22<\/p>\n

Jeevan meets 8-year-old Kirsten at a production of “King Lear” in which she’s acting. He helps her out. In the middle of helping her out, he finds out from his doctor sister that there’s a deadly flu and he should go to his brother Frank’s and barricade the door. He takes Kirsten with him. Eighty days later Jeevan and Kirsten emerge into a different world.<\/p>\n

Twenty years later, Kirsten rides a horse from town to town as part of a travelling Shakespearean company of actors.<\/p>\n

This is a 10-part miniseries based on the book<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s pretty serious, and is intense at times. But the 1st episode will grab you right away, and you’ll want to find out what happens.<\/p>\n

It sometimes shows scenes from a different perspective, to good effect.<\/p>\n

It’s about people who want to remember the past, people who want to forget the past, people who want to keep moving, and people who want to settle down.<\/p>\n

The music by Dan Romer is superb.<\/p>\n

David Cross has a nice role in one episode. Matilda Lawler does a fantastic job playing Young Kirsten.<\/p>\n

Stars Mackenzie Davis, Himesh Patel, and Lori Petty.<\/p>\n
