The enemy is here now, with thousands of soldiers.<\/p>\n<p>This is the sequel to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidmswitzer.com\/blog\/2020\/05\/shorefall\/\"><strong>Shorefall<\/strong><\/a> and concludes the trilogy.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about what it&#8217;s like to be friends with people you can join your thoughts with. It&#8217;s about fighting for the world, empathy, and a new kind of society.<\/p>\n<p>It has a certain oddness to it, and maybe it was a bit long. But it&#8217;s a story with characters you care about, and it has a good message.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve read 3 books by Bennett.
